Mission Point Resort has announced a series of new dining concepts, culinary collaborations, guest experiences, and property upgrades planned for the 2026 season on Mackinac Island.
According to the resort, the additions are designed to expand food offerings, create more interactive experiences for guests, and incorporate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.
“With every season, our family and team look for ways to continue evolving while staying true to what makes Mission Point special,” said Liz Ware, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the resort. “From new dining concepts and collaborations to meaningful property investments and immersive experiences, 2026 is shaping up to be one of our most exciting seasons yet.”
New Pizza Concept Coming to Mission Point
One of the most notable additions this season is Adirondacks Pizza, a new pizza outlet created by Executive Chef John Clements.
The concept will feature handcrafted pizza made with regionally sourced ingredients. The resort says the new outlet will align with its “farm-to-ferry” approach to food sourcing, highlighting seasonal ingredients and regional producers.
Adirondacks Pizza will be open to both resort guests and the public. Visitors will be encouraged to enjoy their pizza outdoors on Mission Point’s Great Lawn, overlooking the Straits of Mackinac.
“Pizza is meant to be fun, approachable, and shared,” Clements said in a statement. “Adirondacks Pizza delivers great flavor in a relaxed way, while letting the beauty of Mission Point and Mackinac Island speak for itself.”
Detroit Icon Joins Round Island Kitchen Collaboration

Mission Point will also debut a collaboration with Detroit’s historic American Coney Island restaurant as part of celebrations surrounding America’s 250th anniversary.
Round Island Kitchen will introduce an American Coney Island breakfast skillet, featuring eggs, natural casing hot dogs from Dearborn Sausage, and the Keros family’s signature Coney Island chili sauce recipe.
Liz Ware, VP of Sales & Marketing for Mission Point says “There is no doubt that the American Coney Island Skillet will quickly become the ‘go-to’ breakfast on Mackinac Island. I recommend it with the classic toppings of onions and, of course, fine mustard. It is delicious.”
American Coney Island, founded in 1917 by Constantine “Gust” Keros, remains one of Detroit’s longest-running family-owned restaurants.
Grace Keros of American Coney Island said the partnership highlights shared Michigan roots. “When two family-owned Michigan icons come together, it’s about more than great food — it’s about tradition, quality, and the pride we take in doing things the right way,” she said in a statement.
Lily’s Lemonade Expands

Another update for the 2026 season includes expanded seating at Lily’s Lemonade, a popular quick-stop location at the resort.
The area will now offer more space for guests to relax, along with new frozen drink options, perfect for those biking around Mackinac Island or exploring the resort grounds.
Hands-On Culinary Experiences
Mission Point is also expanding its lineup of culinary classes and guest experiences throughout the season. Planned offerings include:
Wine & Fudge Pairing Class — Saturdays at 2 p.m.
Sushi Club — first Sunday of each month at 6 p.m.
Pasta-Making Class — one Thursday per month from June through September at 5 p.m.
Shaken & Stirred: Signature Sips of Mission Point — Fridays at 2 p.m.
The resort says the classes are designed to give guests an opportunity to learn directly from the culinary team while enjoying a memorable Mackinac Island experience.
America’s 250th Celebrations

In recognition of the nation’s 250th anniversary, Mission Point plans to incorporate patriotic themes throughout the resort.
Planned additions include special red, white, and blue floral displays and a selection of limited-time menu items such as:
The Spirit of America cocktail
The Pursuit of Happiness mocktail
The Patriotic Pancake
Apple Pie à la Mode
Red, White & Blue Panna Cotta
Fitness Center Improvements
The resort has also completed upgrades to its fitness center ahead of the season. Improvements include new cardio and weight machines, along with updated paint and mirrors.
