One of Mackinac Island’s most iconic properties is getting national recognition.
The Inn at Stonecliffe has been nominated for the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, highlighting the property as one of the standout travel experiences in the country. The annual awards are based entirely on traveler votes, making them one of the most meaningful honors in the industry.
Set on the Island’s west bluff, Inn at Stonecliffe is known for its sweeping views of the Mackinac Bridge, expansive lawns, and quiet, elevated atmosphere that feels worlds away from the bustle of downtown. It’s a place where guests come to slow down, settle in, and take in a different side of Mackinac Island.
For many visitors, it has become a tradition, morning coffee overlooking the Straits, evenings spent around the fire, and a stay that feels both relaxed and refined.
The nomination reflects not only the property itself, but the broader Mackinac Island experience that continues to draw visitors year after year.
Voting is open now through June 30.
